Our Vision

The HDJ Foundation, established by Chip Johnson and sister, Denise Johnson-Webb, aims to provide scholarships and financial assistance to students at historically black colleges and universities, while also recognizing the invaluable contributions of teachers. Annually, the HDJ Foundation honors teachers for their academic excellence, community engagement, support to parents, and resilience in overcoming political and systemic challenges. Through awards in various categories, the HDJ Foundation expresses its appreciation to teachers for the dedication and impact in the field of education.
